55+ Programs & Resources

Now accepting vendor and exhibitor applications for all 2026 55+ Events. Whether you are a seniors service, community group or not-for-profit we want to hear from you! Applications for the Seniors BBQ (June 2) must be submitted by April 30. Applications for the 55+ Wellness and Information Fair must be submitted by July 30. Please note any new applications for the Seniors BBQ will be added to the waitlist.

Aging Well Month – Tuesday June 30, 2026 

Location: Pickering Village Senior Centre (29 Linton Avenue) 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Join movie buff Tim Westhead to find out what’s beyond the silver screen! Enjoy discovering new and classic films that combine comedy with drama, including It Happened One Night, The Apartment and Catch Me If You Can, and make your love for film a more rewarding experience!

Membership Information:

Membership is $20 per year with access to programs at both locations. Busing options available on Wednesdays at St. Andrews, please call the centre for more details. Check out the May Newsletter. For more details on programming and events please visit the Ajax Seniors Club website.

Two PROBUS Clubs operate in Ajax. PROBUS is a social club for retired and semi-retired individuals.

Membership includes monthly club meetings, guest speakers, and access to a broad range of activities, interest groups, and social events. Annual membership fee for each club.

Free indoor walking program available at all three Town of Ajax community centres. Program runs from November to March.
