Temporary heart installation illuminates Pat Bayly Square

As part of a sponsorship by Medallion Corporation, the temporary installation will be on display for approximately three weeks, offering residents and visitors a unique photo opportunity while enjoying the outdoor skating rink at Pat Bayly Square.

In addition to sponsoring the illuminated display, Medallion will also be hosting two special community events on Saturday, February 14 (6 – 9 p.m.) and Monday, February 16 (12 – 3 p.m.) right at Pat Bayly Square. Both events will feature:

• A live DJ
• Free hot chocolate
• A photo stand for both print and digital photos

For February 16 only, families can enjoy a visit from popular fictional characters, as they take the ice and pose for photos with attendees.

Residents and visitors are encouraged to share photos using the hashtag #LoveVision and tag @medallion_corp on Instagram for a chance to win Brunch for four at Goldies Café + Eatery.

• The heart installation is designed to create a welcoming winter atmosphere and memorable backdrop for photos throughout the day and night.
• The installation will be on display for approximately three weeks.
• Medallion Corporation is hosting two event activations – Saturday, February 14 from 6 – 9 p.m. and Monday, February 16 from 12 – 3 p.m. at Pat Bayly Square.
• The outdoor skating at Pat Bayly Square (55 Bayly Street West) is open daily from 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. (weather dependent). Participants are encouraged to park in the north parking lot at the Ajax Community Centre (75 Centennial Road). Hockey is not permitted at any time.
